Ryan El Dugi Lewis is a California Native. He recieved scholorship to study Oil Painting and Photography at the San Francisco Art Institute. He has been a professional tattoo artist since 2010. He opened White Buffalo Gallery in 2013 and organized fine art and tattoo convention City of Trees Art & Ink Expo in 2016.

He is well versed in all tattoo styles but realism is the ultimate challenge artistically for him. He enjoys both black and grey and color. However we he happily collaborates with clients to bring their concept to life. Ryan loves to do different styles large ornamental or geometric pieces, and feels it’s like using different muscles artistically and mentally.

Tattooing is my greatest passion. It allows me to combine my love for art with the deeply personal connection of creating something meaningful for someone else. There is no greater reward than seeing the joy and emotion on a client’s face—whether it’s a parent seeing a portrait of their child or someone honoring the memory of a loved one. I’ve witnessed tough individuals light up with childlike excitement and heartfelt gratitude when they see their ideas come to life on their skin.

I specialize in both black and gray and full-color work, and my versatility allows me to adapt to any style—realism, intricate detail, portraits, traditional, landscapes, fantasy, tribal, script, Asian, Aztec, and more. I try to achive a natural flow in my work, that blends with the contours of the body, and I take pride in breathing life into every piece. For me, tattooing isn’t just a job—it’s an extension of who I am as an artist.

Every day, I push myself to grow, learn, and refine my craft. I am deeply grateful to do what I love while giving others a gift that lasts a lifetime.
